CLI accounts & projects

Use account commands for local credential selection and project links for a stable account and Site context inside a checkout.

Accounts

interfold accounts list

interfold accounts use <account-id>

Account resolution is:

1. --account
2. INTERFOLD_ACCOUNT_ID
3. Nearest project link
4. defaultAccountId

There is no default Site.

Link a project

interfold link --account <account-id> --site <site-id>
interfold link status
interfold --cwd <linked-directory> unlink

The link is stored in .interfold/project.json and contains account and Site IDs, never credentials. Commands search from --cwd or the process working directory through its parents. The nearest link wins.

unlink removes only a link in the selected working directory. It does not silently remove an ancestor link.

Site resolution is:

1. --site
2. INTERFOLD_SITE_ID
3. Nearest project link

Local config

interfold config get
interfold config get defaultAccountId
interfold config set defaultAccountId <account-id>

Authentication keys are not config values. Use interfold login, --api-key, or INTERFOLD_API_KEY.
